This program includes completing a self-paced online 8-12 hour course which must be completed prior to in-person class. After completing the online course, you attend the in-person class date selected from 9am-5pm at 6212 W Charleston Blvd Suite 201B Las Vegas NV 89146. This program is for residential pool owners, commercial and residential service operators, maintenance technicians, facility managers, and environmental health officials. After registration, program information will be emailed to you. If registration is after business hours, expect the email the next business day. In-Person Class:

  • After the online course is completed, attend the scheduled 1-day in-person class which is taught in English.
  • The program includes book.
  • In-person class reviews key points from online course.
  • Covers Southern Nevada Health District Aquatic Facility Regs.
  • Attendees from out of town will be provided with appropriate regulations.
  • Exam not required for homeowners taking care of their own pool.
  • Open-book open-note certification exam.
  • Bring notes from the online course to the exam.
  • CPO Certificate is emailed same day after passing exam.
  • National CPO Certification valid for 5 years after passing exam.
  • Must have a valid government issued ID to take the exam.
  • This program is non-refundable, but in-person class can be rescheduled.
  • Current CPOs wanting to re-certify have the option of completing an online course only and then taking the CPO exam with no class time required. First text a pic of current CPO card issued by NSPF or PHTA to (702) 243-7946. Green tech card from SNHD is not a CPO card.
