  • Attend a 2-day class which is taught in English and covers all 18 chapters of the Pool & Spa Operator Handbook.
  • Includes PHTA® Pool & Spa Operator Handbook providing a life-long reference tool.
  • Class covers Southern Nevada Health District Aquatic Facility Regs.
  • Attendees from out of town will be provided with appropriate regulations.
  • Open book-open note certification exam.
  • Must have a valid government issued ID to take the exam.
  • CPO Certificate is emailed same day after passing exam.
  • National CPO certification is valid for 5 years after passing exam.
  • Current CPOs wanting to re-certify have the option of completing an online course only and then taking the CPO exam with no class time required. First text a pic of current CPO card issued by NSPF or PHTA to (702) 243-7946, then register for option 2. Green tech card from SNHD is not a CPO card.
